Fraternal Shorty Sock Twins " Crone " - Llark SW BFL/Nylon Speckle Gradient Sock Yarn Set

This listing is for one set of Fraternal Shorty Sock Twins. Each set includes two approximately 30g balls of yarn that are speckle dyed side by side with their twin. I call these my "Speckle Gradients" as they have more speckles on one end of the yarn and then transition to fewer speckles or into another color of speckles on the opposite end. The random speckle dye technique make these a fraternal pair.

Our new Shorty Sock Twin line is perfect for those who never use a full skein of yarn for a pair of socks! These sock twins have 40% less yardage than our classic sock twins and are great for those who have smaller feet or like shorter socks but still want to enjoy the full gradient in their finished object. Pair with one or two of our 20g Wee skeins for longer socks with contrasting heels/toes/cuffs. Also great for gloves or fingerless mitts.

The combination of Blue Faced Leicester/Nylon and tight ply of this yarn make it quite hard-wearing. Looks great in garter stitch, textured stitches and more!

My Llark line of speckle dyed yarns are made from my own sock blanks using professional acid dyes.

Yarn Details:
Two approx. 30g skeins/ 120 yards
(240 Total Yards/set)
80% SW BFL
20% Nylon
Fingering weight, 2-ply
Recommended needle size US 1-3

Each set consists of (2) approximately 30g balls of yarn, pre-wound into a convenient center-pull cake. The total yardage of the two balls of yarn is approximately 240 yards. Photos may show the same colorway wound from different ends to display the spectrum of the gradient. The yarn you receive may be wound from either end. If you have a preference, please let us know in the Notes to Seller box during checkout.

Care instructions:
We recommend gentle hand washing in cold water with your favorite wool wash and drying flat in order to maximize the life of your creations, although you may machine wash gentle on cold and air fluff to dry.

This product comes from a smoke-free household, but not a cat-free one.

The cat however, does not come into direct contact with any of the fiber.

This yarn is rinsed in water containing a touch of lavender oil.
